Place on high heat and let it come up to a boil, then immediately turn down the heat tolow.
Let the oats cook on low with the lid on, stirring often until the oats are soft and the appleis cooked but still has a little bite in it (around 5-10 minutes).
Serve with more milk over the top, a pinch of cinnamon, a drizzle of nut butter (I lovealmond butter here!) and a drizzle of date syrup or maple syrup if you want some extrasweetness.
